This is the only University in Japan that specializes in Social Sciences and Humanities. It has over 4, 000 undergraduate students and 2, 000 graduate students. This exchange program is for undergraduate students only.
Exchange students that master Japanese can enroll in classes taught in this language. Those who do not know Japanese or have only a very basic level can take classes in English under the Hitotsubashi University Global Education Program.
Summer semester: end of March to end of July. Admission application deadline: September 30th.
Winter semester: end of September to end of January. Admission application deadline: March 31st.
A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (institutional) or 79 (IBT) is required to take classes in English.
For classes in Japanese, a JLPT level 2, N2 or equivalent is required.
